Both stainless steel and non-stick cookware have their pros and cons. The stainless steel cookware is the best cookware to have because it has excellent conductivity making food evenly heated up. While non-stick cookware has less conductivity compare to the stainless steel cookware.

However, non-stick cookware is easy to clean compare to the stainless steel. Some claim that you don't need much oil when cooking using a non stick cookware which seems to be healthy. Unlike the non stick cookware where all you need is to sponge clean the cookware, stainless steel cookware need to be scrubbed because often food will get stuck on the pan and it won't go off by normal washing.

Although non-stick cookware is not so efficient in transferring heat, somehow I find it as an advantage because when cooking is slow to heat up, I can wash dishes in the middle of cooking without any risk of my food being burnt. Thus, when heating up things with a non-stick cookware, you need to be more cautious because it is claim that it can be hazardous to your health when too much high heat is applied to the cookware. Therefore, it is best to go for medium heat when cooking with a non-stick cookware.
