For non stick cookware, I use it mostly to stir fry vegetables or cook soup in it because they won't leave any residue sticking at the bottom of the pot and vegetables are easily cooked in it. Since the non stick pan has some health issues if high heat is applied when it is cooking, I have no problem cooking vegetables in them using medium heat. But it wouldn't be same for cooking meat under medium heat because it will seem to take forever for the meat to be cooked.
